The Grandson of an Auschwitz survivor, Simon Wallfisch is a passionate activist for equality, protection of minorities and a society in which people of all backgrounds are free to live and love without fear or prejudice. He is active in Holocaust Education, speaks to schools and gives workshops and is often invited to speak on panels discussing Anti-Semitism and other forms of prejudice. He is often invited to speak at Cultural and Social Events in the UK and Germany.
Simon is passionate and optimistic about Britain remaining a member of the European Union. Every month since the signing of Article 50 in 2017, he has performed Beethoven’s Ode to Joy outside the Houses of Parliament in order to highlight the importance of Freedom of Movement for Musicians.
