MAESTRO OF NONE
A concert celebrating versatility and the joy of music making. Simon Wallfisch combines his two disciplines in unique arrangements of celebrated song repertoire, singing whilst playing an obbligato line in the cello. With songs by Schubert, Strauss, Brahms, Mahler, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Debussy, Quilter, Donizetti, Bellini, nobody is safe.
His performances combining cello and voice have brought him to concert halls around the world, including Berlin Konzerthaus, Laeiszhalle Hamburg, London’s Royal Festival Hall and Kings Place.
